About Beate Dalbec Photography
Born and raised in Germany, Beate Dalbec is an award-winning nature and travel photographer now living in Rochester, MA. Her introduction to photography happened on her 15th birthday, when she received a Minolta SLR as a present from her parents to help document their family travels. Still infected with the travel bug she loves to explore different regions of the world, near and far.
Her main interest had always been nature and travel photography. She considers Art Wolfe to be a big influence, who changed the way she approches her photography and made her look at the world with new eyes.
Her "Bison at Grand Prismatic" image was used by the State of Montana for a nationwide 2013 advertising campaign. She was a winner in the Yellowstone Forever contest and her image was part of the Nature's Best exhibit in the Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C.
She is also available for private equine and pet photography sessions.
Besides photography her big passion is horses and the art of dressage.
